What is GenAI.mil? GenAI.mil is the Department of War's premier AI model platform, delivering AI models and applications securely across the joint force. The platform powers agentic workflows, enables rapid AI experimentation, and helps field an AI-enabled workforce.
Purpose. GenAI.mil exists to achieve decisive cognitive overmatch by integrating AI with operational capabilities and compressing the OODA loop (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act) across echelons—helping commanders out-think, out-decide, and out-pace any adversary.
Method. The effort focuses on three converging lines of work: delivering the best American AI to every desktop, integrating AI throughout operations, and forging an AI-ready workforce through training and toolsets.
